Park your jeep on a flat surface with wheels as straight as you can. Get under the front and loosen the 2 bolts on the drag link. Turn the adjuster a quarter turn one way or the other ( which ever way makes the steering wheel more centered ). Remember which way you turned it ! Tighten the 2 bolts back. This goes inside the wheel to connect the heated wheel wires and all other buttons. This then plugs into the steering wheel column which all jeeps have the same column wiring so no need to upgrade that. The slip joint is there for movement , if it were a solid tube and you had a front impact then the steering wheel could come though and hit you . So with the slip tube if that happens it will compress and the wheel stays put . kg6mov Lifetime Premium · #2 · Jun 16, 2016. ZJ will swap (physically) to ZJ, but the buttons will not work. WJ/WK electrics are all different, not a chance. Don't think the WK would even bolt up. TJ/XJ will bolt up AFAIK, but again electrics are wrong.
